On 18-6-2025, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways<\/span> introduced FASTag-based Annual Pass<\/span> as an initiative to enhance convenience for highway travellers, effective from 15-8-2025<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Key Points on FASTag Annual Pass:<\/h3>\n

  1. \n

    This FASTag Annual Pass will be priced at \u20b93,000<\/span>, offering a seamless and cost-effective toll payment system for non-commercial private vehicles<\/span>, commercial vehicles are excluded for now.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    This Annual pass issue to vehicle owner will be valid for one year from the date this pass is issued, or for 200 trips as covered by the traveller, whichever is occurring first National Highways and Expressways<\/span>, helping commuters save compared to regular toll charges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    This pass will be issued to traveller through official websites of National Highways Authority of India<\/span> and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways<\/span> or government applications such as \u2014 Rajmarg Yatra App<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    This crucial step taken aims to simplify the toll payment process for highway travellers effectively resolving concerns over toll plazas within a 60 km radius<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
