MP High Court seeks clarification"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Madhya Pradesh High Court:<\/span> In a writ petition challenging the alleged discriminatory action whereby Muslim civilians are being stopped from offering prayers at Masjid Noor, situated at Old Grant B-3, Land behind the Controller of Defence Account (CDA), Ridge Road, Jabalpur, M.P., a Division bench of Suresh Kumar Kait, CJ., and Vivek Jain, J., issued notice and sought clarification from respondents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The petitioner submitted that civilians from the Hindu and Christian communities are allowed to offer prayers at the Temple and Church situated within or in the vicinity of the same defence land, whereas Muslim civilians are being specifically barred from praying at the Masjid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Court took a prima facie view of the matter and issued notice to all respondents. The counsel, accepted notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 6 &amp; 8.
