Mr. Anirban Mohapatra<\/span> has rejoined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in its Technology, Media, Telecommunications (TMT<\/span>) Practice. He will be based in Mumbai office.<\/p>\n

Anirban has over 14 years of experience in the technology space advising several MNCs as well as Indian clients on various aspects of technology law across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, online gaming, BFSI, Telecom and e-commerce. Anirban’s expertise extends from advising clients on large turnkey technology services contracts, structuring novel technology product and service offerings, strategising intellectual property protection, technology transfer and collaboration agreements as well as strategic M&A in the technology space. He has advised several companies such as Amazon, Google, Apollo, Dream11, JSW and Tata Group on various technology matters.<\/p>\n

Mr. Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas<\/span> said, “I am delighted that Anirban is joining us back. He is an excellent and highly proficient lawyer. Anirban had joined erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. in 2012. He has also worked with Infosys and Amazon.<\/p>\n

Anirban graduated from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) in 2010.<\/p>\n

On his joining, Anirban, <\/span>said, “I am excited to rejoin Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. I am returning to the place that has shaped my professional life and where I have experienced some of the closest friendships and fondest moments. Ms. Prajna Mohapatra<\/span> has also rejoined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in its Corporate Practice. She will be based in Mumbai office.<\/p>\n

Prajna is an M&A and PE lawyer with over a decade of post-qualification experience. Her primary practice areas are inbound M&A (with a focus on healthcare, financial services and construction and development), PE investments and exits (control and minority), strategic mergers, amalgamations and joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and general corporate advisory. She has advised clients such as Morgan Stanley PE and GIC Singapore in the past and regularly advises similar clients on a wide spectrum of transactional and governance related aspects under Indian law.<\/p>\n
