VIPS Legal Aid Clinic, Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies-Technical Campus, is organizing Vidhichitra 4.0: National Reel Making Competition on “Justice for All: Dr. Ambedkar’s Legacy in the Constitution & Legal Aid.”<\/p>\n

ABOUT VSLLS, VIPS-TC<\/h3>\n

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies – Technical Campus is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. The institute is committed to realise the words of Swami Vivekananda: “Man Making, Character Building and Nation Building”.<\/p>\n

Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies (VSLLS), under the umbrella of VIPS-TC, has taken progressive efforts to equip its law students to face the world by developing conceptual clarity and focusing on the creation of research aptitude and critical approaches.<\/p>\n

To make our students conscious of their social responsibility along with developing their legal acumen, VIPS Legal Aid Clinic was established in 2013. VIPS Legal Aid Clinic is the connection between the DSLSA and the people seeking justice.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE COMPETITION<\/h3>\n

Vidhichitra 4.0, a prestigious competition organized by the VIPS Legal Aid Clinic of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies – Technical Campus, is a national level reel-making contest that invites participants to showcase their creativity and awareness through short videos. The competition encourages participants to explore themes related to legal aid, justice, and social impact, fostering a deeper understanding of these critical issues.<\/p>\n

Theme of the Competition<\/h3>\n

Justice for All: Dr. Ambedkar’s Legacy in the Constitution & Legal Aid<\/span> Participants can give their submission on any of the following sub-themes:<\/p>\n

    Legal Aid: Constitution vs Reality<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Constitutional Safeguards for Marginalized Groups: Legal Aid in Action<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Legal Aid and Advocacy for Labor Rights<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Protecting Human Rights through Legal Aid<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Legal Inclusivity: Legal Aid and Transgender Rights<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:<\/span> These sub-themes<\/span> are intended as a guide and are not exhaustive<\/span>. Participants are welcome to give submissions that explore additional topics related to or expanding on these themes.<\/p>\n

    ELIGIBILITY & MODE<\/h3>\n

    This competition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines nationwide and will be conducted in the Virtual\/Online Mode.<\/p>\n

    GENERAL GUIDLINES<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. \n

      Originality:<\/span> The reel must be an original creation. Inspiration from trends is allowed, but plagiarism, direct replication, or AI-generated content will lead to disqualification.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Content:<\/span> The reel must be ethical, respectful, and suitable for a general audience. Use of offensive language, name-calling, derogatory remarks, or targeting any individual\/community is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Participation:<\/span> Entries can be submitted individually or in teams (max 3 members). Cross-semester and cross-college teams are allowed.<\/span> Each participant\/team can submit only one entry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Language:<\/span> The reel must be in either English or Hindi. Mixing both languages in one entry is not permitted.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. \n

        The name of the document must be ‘Team Code: Vidhichitra 4.0 Reel Submission’.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        The submissions shall be made in mp4 format.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        All the submissions will be accepted through a link sent to the email address provided in registration form. No submissions shall be entertained post the submission deadline.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        FORMAT OF SUBMISSION<\/h3>\n
          \n
        1. \n

          The reel should be engaging and should not merely consist of internet generated pictures and audio. It shall include clips recorded by the participants themselves.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        2. \n

          The language of the submission should either be English or Hindi.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        3. \n

          The duration of the reel shall not exceed 90 seconds and should be of minimum 60 seconds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        4. \n

          The reel should not contain any details of the participants and should be titled as the sub theme chosen by the team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
