exercise of the power conferred by Article <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0001574964\" target=\"_blank\">222(1)<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002726967\" target=\"_blank\">Constitution of India<\/a>, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, transferred Justice Chandra Dhari Singh, Judge, Delhi High Court, to be a Judge of Allahabad High Court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The President also transferred Justice Arindam Sinha, Judge, Orissa High Court, to be a Judge of Allahabad High Court and directed him to assume charge of his office in the Allahabad High Court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The aforesaid transfers were notified by the Ministry of Law and Justice on 28-3-2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Supreme Court Collegium recommended the transfer of Justice CD Singh in November 2024 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2025\/03\/23\/supreme-court-collegium-recommends-appointment-of-judges-for-the-high-courts-of-chhattisgarh-punjab-haryana-gujarat-and-allahabad-scc-times\/\" target=\"_blank\">transfer<\/a> of Justice Arindam Sinha on 20-3-2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; margin-bottom: 3%;\">President transfers Justice C.D Singh and Justice Arindam Sinha to
