Madhya Pradesh High Court:<\/span> While hearing a matter, a single-judge bench of Anuradha Shukla, J<\/span>., adjourned the proceedings after the counsel for the appellants, Shri P. C. Paliwal, made disgraceful and contemptuous statements toward the Court over the delay.<\/p>\n

During the hearing, the advocate remarked that the court had been conducting a “tamasha” for four hours and criticised judicial appointments, referencing incidents in Delhi. He further alleged harassment, expressing frustration over the case being listed 20 times before finally being heard. He went on to state that he would personally raise the matter with a political leader, Mohan Yadav, and insisted that he did not wish to argue the case before the present bench, requesting its transfer.<\/p>\n

Taking serious note of these statements, the Court found the remarks to be disgraceful and contemptuous and ordered that a certified copy of the order be placed before the Chief Justice for necessary action.<\/p>\n
