London, United Kingdom:<\/span> The London International Disputes Week (‘LIDW’) has unveiled the keynote speakers for its International Arbitration Day and launched ticket sales for the Main Conference. The LIDW25 will consist of a variety of events such as International Arbitration Day, Main Conference, Gala Dinner, etc.<\/p>\n

About LIDW<\/h3>\n

LIDW was established in 2019 to shape the future of international dispute resolution in London. It serves as a forward-thinking forum that explores and contributes to the evolution of dispute resolution, celebrating London as a global leader in arbitration, litigation, and mediation. The organisation is committed to diversity, inclusion, and the rule of law. LIDW encourages membership from across the disputes community, including law firms, barristers’ chambers, arbitrators, mediators, and organisations providing ancillary services such as litigation funders, eDiscovery providers, and expert witnesses.<\/p>\n

Last year the LIDW saw attendance from around 200 corporates, 274 law firms, 1360 international delegates, participants from 102 different jurisdictions, 17000 in-person registrations, and much more.<\/p>\n

About International Arbitration Day<\/h3>\n

International Arbitration Day will reaffirm arbitration’s role as an integral pillar of dispute resolution and London’s status as a global arbitration centre. This year’s keynote speakers will include Kevin Nash, Director General LCIA, and Justice Sara Cockerill, King’s Bench Division, High Court, setting the stage for in-depth discussions on the evolving arbitration landscape.<\/p>\n

The International Arbitration Day sessions will be hosted by a hub formed by Linklaters, Simmons & Simmons, and Squire Patton Boggs, and are free to attend. The sessions in each hub firm will kick-off with a keynote, followed by four in-person panel sessions.<\/p>\n

The programme covers a broad spectrum of critical topics around key jurisdictions, important sectors and practice elements. Panels will explore corporate and private equity arbitration in Asia, disputes involving state-owned entities, and arbitration’s role in major Middle Eastern infrastructure projects. Regional sessions will examine arbitration in emerging and established seats, as well as disputes in Central Asia amid geopolitical uncertainty.<\/p>\n

The programme will also cover pressing issues such as Russia-related disputes, the impact of sanctions, arbitration in renewable energy projects, and procedural efficiency. Attendees will also gain insights into the EU’s evolving approach to investor-state dispute settlement and cross-jurisdictional mining disputes across Latin America and Africa.<\/p>\n

About LIDW25<\/h3>\n

Now in its sixth year, LIDW25 will take place from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th June, featuring a diverse programme of keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities.<\/p>\n

Under the theme Innovation in Dispute Resolution: Navigating Global Risks<\/span>, LIDW25 aims to engage a wider international audience, including in-house counsel, private practice lawyers, arbitrators, mediators and dispute resolution professionals.<\/p>\n

The Main Conference will consist of sessions on key topics such as AI, the business of dispute resolution, and navigating supply chain disputes and risk.<\/p>\n
