On 8-3-2025, the Delhi Cabinet<\/span> approved the implementation of ‘Mahila Samriddhi Yojna’<\/span> by allocating Rs. 5100 crore in Delhi Budget<\/span> to give aid of Rs. 2500 per month<\/span> to the targeted women of Delhi, which comprises of Self Help Groups and women belonging to economically and socially backward classes.<\/p>\n

    The scheme aims to benefit entrepreneurs from backward backgrounds or poor backgrounds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Scheme was launched as a part of the National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    The scheme enables the Government to provide micro-finance to the women entrepreneurs directly\/ through Self Help Groups.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    The targeted women beneficiaries will be identified and given loans.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    The targeted beneficiaries are:<\/p>\n

        To help women meet their entrepreneurial goals by providing microfinance;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        To encourage women from weaker sections to pursue their aspirations;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        To encourage women to overcome social stigma and gain financial independence;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
