SGT UNIVERSITY, GURUGRAM-<\/p>\n

SGT University is nationally renowned for its leadership in Medical and Health Sciences. ABOUT FACULTY OF LAW-<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Law was established in 2014 at SGT University. It has statutory recognition from The Bar Council of India and the Government of Haryana. The Faculty of Law was established to aid the students with education on Legislative Law and provide an academically rich environment. The Faculty of Law equips students with a broad perspective enabling them to excel as law professionals & compete effectively on national & international platforms. The Faculty of Law at SGT University is one of the best colleges in Delhi NCR for Law courses. It provides five courses, including UG, PG, Ph.D, Diploma and specialized Certification Courses. The Faculty of Law at SGT University is based on the core values of Dedication Honesty, Integrity, Respect. They provide the highest quality professional legal education to equip Indian students for transnational practice and to face globalization challenges.<\/p>\n

RANKA CHARITABLE PUBLIC TRUST-<\/p>\n

The Ranka Public Charitable Trust is a philanthropic organization established by the late Dr. N.M. Ranka, a Senior Advocate, primarily focused on providing scholarships to needy students, distributing free medicines and food to poor patients, and supporting other like-minded charitable trusts with donations; notable activities include donating Mahatma Gandhi statues to various institutions and organizing law moot court competitions at universities like Manipal and Rajasthan High Court.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE COMPETITION-<\/h3>\n

The Trial Advocacy Competition is an esteemed event designed to provide law students with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their courtroom skills in a competitive setting. This event simulates real-life courtroom scenarios where participants take on the roles of attorneys, presenting cases before a panel of judges. The competition allows students to showcase their abilities in areas such as legal research, argument construction, direct and cross-examination of witnesses, and effective courtroom advocacy. The event fosters an environment of professional growth and aims to hone public speaking, encourage critical thinking, practical experience, foster legal professionalism, skill development, networking opportunities amongst law students.<\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY-<\/h3>\n

Students pursuing a 3-year L.L.B. Degree Course or a 5-Year Integrated and LL.B. Degree Course from the colleges recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the competition.<\/p>\n

Faculty of Law, SGT University, Gurugram.<\/p>\n

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE-<\/h3>\n

The teams are strongly encouraged to complete the registration form at the earliest possible.<\/p>\n

The Final Registration is hyperlinked here<\/a>, fill out before March 10, 2025. A team must comprise of 3 members, 2 speakers along with 1 speaker. Witness will be provided by the host (SGT University).<\/p>\n
