On 28-2-2025, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi<\/span> notified the Non-Cognizable Offences Report Rules, 2025<\/span> to ensure proper documentation and judicial oversight for non-cognizable offences. The provisions came into force on 28-2-2025.<\/p>\n

Key Points:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. \n

    Any information which will be received, under Section 174(1)<\/a> of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023<\/a>, by any officer who is in charge of a police station, such information will be converted into Non-Cognizable Offence Information Report (‘NCR’)<\/span> on Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (‘CCTNS’)<\/span> and will be entered in Integrated Investigation Form- XVI<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    A printout of recorded NCR will be kept in Register-IA<\/span> in Police Station records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    The information of the recorded non-cognizable offence will be forwarded to the Magistrate on a fortnightly basis.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
