The provisions came into force on 28-2-2025.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Points:<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Any information which will be received, under Section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-9001803877\" target=\"_blank\">174(1)<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/Cr7F1W4r\" target=\"_blank\">Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023<\/a>, by any officer who is in charge of a police station, such information will be converted into <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Non-Cognizable Offence Information Report (&#8216;NCR&#8217;)<\/span> on <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (&#8216;CCTNS&#8217;)<\/span> and will be entered in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Integrated Investigation Form- XVI<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A printout of recorded NCR will be kept in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Register-IA<\/span> in Police Station records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The information of the recorded non-cognizable offence will be forwarded to the Magistrate on a fortnightly
