As one of the most prestigious moot court competitions in the Delhi-NCR region, the event stands as a beacon of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">intellectual pursuit and legal excellence<\/span>, providing a vibrant platform for aspiring legal minds to test their <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">advocacy, research, and reasoning skills<\/span>. Judged by an illustrious panel comprising <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">judges, academicians, and legal practitioners<\/span>, the competition has consistently attracted participation from premier law schools across the region, fostering an environment of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">intellectual camaraderie and competitive spirit<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3>About Law Centre-I, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Established in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">1970, Law Centre-I (LC-I)<\/span> is a constituent of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Faculty of Law, University of Delhi<\/span>, one of India&#8217;s oldest and most prestigious legal institutions. With a legacy spanning over five decades, LC-I has been a cradle of legal excellence, producing some of the nation&#8217;s finest legal minds. The Centre&#8217;s commitment to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">academic brilliance, pro bono legal services, and experiential learning<\/span> has set a benchmark in legal education, nurturing advocates who uphold the ideals of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">justice, integrity, and social responsibility<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3>Theme of the Moot Proposition<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Moot Proposition<\/span> for this edition revolves around the dynamic and contentious domain of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">International Investment Law<\/span>, exploring critical questions at the intersection of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">State sovereignty, investor protection, and armed conflict<\/span>. Participants will be called upon to argue on issues such as <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">expropriation, investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS), retrospective taxation, and national security exceptions<\/span> &#8212; themes that mirror the complexities of cross-border disputes in a world grappling with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">political turmoil and shifting power dynamics<\/span>. The proposition challenges participants to navigate the delicate balance between <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">State regulatory autonomy<\/span> and the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">protection of foreign investments<\/span>, testing their ability to craft persuasive legal arguments grounded in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">principle, policy, and
