The Centre&#8217;s commitment to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">academic brilliance, pro bono legal services, and experiential learning<\/span> has set a benchmark in legal education, nurturing advocates who uphold the ideals of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">justice, integrity, and social responsibility<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3>Theme of the Moot Proposition<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Moot Proposition<\/span> for this edition revolves around the dynamic and contentious domain of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">International Investment Law<\/span>, exploring critical questions at the intersection of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">State sovereignty, investor protection, and armed conflict<\/span>. Participants will be called upon to argue on issues such as <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">expropriation, investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS), retrospective taxation, and national security exceptions<\/span> &#8212; themes that mirror the complexities of cross-border disputes in a world grappling with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">political turmoil and shifting power dynamics<\/span>.
