The provisions came into force on 28-2-2025.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Points:<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Any arrest made by any Police Officer under &#8220;Sanhita&#8221; will have to be give the information regarding the persons arrest and place where the arrested person is being held to any of his relatives\/ friends\/ any other person who is nominated by the arrested person.<\/p>\n<p>This information will also have to be disclosed to the designated police officer in district court.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">register<\/span> will be maintained by every Police Station for entering the following details:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Details of the arrested person;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Fact as to who has been informed of such an arrest in the district court.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The process of notifying about the arrest can be done electronically or through physical mode of communication.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Note:<\/span> Here, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8220;mode of information&#8221;<\/span> means the mode of intimation regarding arrest to relatives, friend or such other persons as may be disclosed or nominated by the arrested person given through electronic mode i.e. mobile phone, social media apps (including whatsapp), sms, Landline phone, email as well as physical mode.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-style:
