Ahmedabad, Gujarat:<\/span> In the convocation of Gujarat Law School held on 19-02-2025, Justice CK Thakker, former Judge, Supreme Court of India, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate for his contributions in the field of law and education.<\/p>\n

Justice Thakker began his practice in 1968 and continued till he was elevated as a Judge of Gujarat High Court in 1990. He then went on to serve as the Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court and the Bombay High Court before being elevated to the Supreme Court. Apart from an illustrious judgeship career, Justice Thakker also authored books such as Encyclopedic Law Lexicon<\/a>, Administrative Law<\/a>, and Code of Civil Procedure, 1908<\/a>, published by EBC. His distinguished book on Administrative Law<\/a> stands as a seminal authority in the field, earning high praise from esteemed figures such as Lord Denning, who said, ” Your contribution for India rivals that of Sir William Wade. Justice Thakker served as a Judge of the Supreme Court from 2004 till his retirement in
