Fox & Mandal is organising a fireside chat and panel discussion ‘Arbitration in the MEASA Region: Roadmap to 2030’ during RIDW 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

RIDW 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Riyadh International Disputes Week (RIDW) is a distinguished international event, attracting a diverse spectrum of global stakeholders.\u00a0 The theme for RIDW25 is “Managing Global Business Relationships: Legal Reforms, Commercial Strategies & Qualifications, Ethics, and Conflict of Interest in Dispute Resolution,” which will guide discussions on how to navigate the complexities of modern dispute resolution in an evolving global business landscape.<\/p>\n

\n

Roadmap to 2030<\/h3>\n

Looking toward 2030, the roadmap to creating a world-class arbitration framework involves several steps, beginning with legal reforms intended to modernise and harmonise national laws with global arbitration standards, and greater adoption of international conventions like the New York Convention to ensure smoother enforcement of arbitral awards. In parallel, technological advancements must be embraced to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness of arbitration proceedings. Additionally, there must be a continued efforts to build an arbitration culture through education, awareness and collaboration. By investing in training programs, fostering partnerships with international arbitration bodies and promoting arbitration-friendly policies, MEASA countries can develop a strong foundation for arbitration as the preferred method of dispute resolution.<\/p>\n

These and other aspects are slated to be discussed at length during a fire side chat and panel discussion themed \u2018Arbitration in the MEASA Region : Roadmap to 2030\u2019, which is part of the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025. During the discussions, the experts shall explore the present state of arbitration in the region and envision its future trajectory. The discussions will focus on the challenges, opportunities and trends that are shaping arbitration in the MEASA region and will identify the steps to enhance its overall effectiveness by 2030, with the underlying goal of aiding the emergence of the MEASA region as a global arbitration powerhouse by 2030.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
