Supreme Court:<\/span> The Division Bench of Surya Kant and N. Kotiswar Singh, JJ. passed an interim order on YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia’s plea to club the First Information Reports (FIR) registered against him in various cities over his remarks made in “India’s Got Latent” show and for interim protection.<\/p>\n

The Court stayed Allahabadia’s arrest, who is popularly known as Beer Biceps. While issuing notice the Court stayed his arrest in two FIRs registered in Maharashtra and Assam, subject to his cooperation and joining the investigation.<\/p>\n

The Court also directed that no show will be aired till further orders.<\/p>\n

Allahabadia’s counsel Abhinav Chandrachud submitted before the Court that he had received death threats. It was also submitted that the question was whether the language that ‘disgusting’ rose to the level of constituting a criminal offence.<\/p>\n
