The Centre has been established in the year 2019 under the able guidance of its Patron-in-Chief Prof. Nirmal Kanti Chakrabarti, Honourable Vice Chancellor of NUJS. It is his inspiration and encouragement that guides the Centre in conducting various programmes. The center in led and guided by its esteemed director, Prof. (Dr.) Lovely DasGupta. The Centre also validates NUJS&#8217;s stature as a leading institution in offering. CSLP aims to foster a culture of innovation and policy-making in the domain of Sports Law. CLSP encourages a discourse on contemporary and pressing issues in the world of sports and address them through a law and policy framework.<\/p>\n<h3>About NUJS<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences was established under the WBNUJS Act, 1999 (West Bengal Act IX of 1999) adopted by the West Bengal Legislature in July, 1999. NUJS is considered one of the best amongst the elite national law schools in India built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India. The university offers a five-year integrated B.A.\/BSc. LLB (Hons.) degree programme at the undergraduate level and a Master of Laws (LLM) programme at the postgraduate level. The Chief Justice of India is the Chancellor of NUJS and is also the Chairman of the General Council, the supreme policy-making body of the University. Prof. (Dr.) Nirmal Kanti Chakrabarti is the Vice Chancellor of the University.<\/p>\n<h3>About the Newsletter<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The newsletter will be a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">quarterly newsletter<\/span> covering events that happened across the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">first three months of 2025<\/span>. We, hereby, open applications for submissions for the upcoming edition of its newsletter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">CSLP is looking forward to receiving submissions in either of the following two formats:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">1. News snippets (200 &#8211; 250 words)<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">2. Op &#8211; eds (400-500 words)<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">All manuscripts must be in MS Docx. format and must be sent to <a href=\"mailto:blogsandnewsletterscslp@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\">blogsandnewsletterscslp@gmail.com<\/a> with the subject line &#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Submissions &#8212; (type of submission) &#8212; (Month)<\/span>&#8221;. All content must be original and unpublished content of others. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">No citations must be used<\/span>, and all manuscripts must be single-authored<\/span>. All submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team to check originality, quality, arguments, and structure before publication, and they may be&nbsp;accepted or rejected on any or all of these grounds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">No submissions post <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">19th March 2025<\/span> shall be accepted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">For any other
