On 12-2-2025, the Department of Justice notified appointment of Chaitali Chatterjee (Das)<\/span>, Judicial Officer, to be an Additional Judge of the Calcutta High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date she assumes charge of her office.<\/p>\n

The Supreme Court Collegium on 4-1-2024 had recommended<\/a> the name of Chaitali Chatterjee (Das), Judicial Officer, for appointment as Judge of the High Court at Calcutta. After enrolment at the Bar in 1993, Chaitali Chatterjee (Das) practiced at the High Court and City Civil Court for about 16 years and thus has extensive experience at the Bar and the Bench. Joining the judicial service in 2009, Chaitali Chatterjee (Das) has held various positions as judicial officer at sensitive postings in the State of West Bengal and is presently posted as Registrar General of the High Court at Calcutta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
