The provisions came into force on 10-2-2025.<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> The Regulations introduces a new chapter relating to Usage of Artificial Intelligence<b>.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">1. If any person uses AI\/ machine learning tools and techniques, then that person will be solely responsible for:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"3\" data-list-defn-props=\"{&quot;335552541&quot;:1,&quot;335559685&quot;:1080,&quot;335559991&quot;:360,&quot;469769226&quot;:&quot;Symbol&quot;,&quot;469769242&quot;:[8226],&quot;469777803&quot;:&quot;left&quot;,&quot;469777804&quot;:&quot;\uf0b7&quot;,&quot;469777815&quot;:&quot;hybridMultilevel&quot;}\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The privacy\/ security and integrity of <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">investors\u2019 and stakeholders\u2019 data including data maintained by it in a fiduciary capacity throughout the processes involved;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">output arising from the usage of such tools\/ techniques it relies upon or deals with;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">compliance with applicable laws in force.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">2. The usage of AI by any person who is regulated by SEBI and such AI is designed by SEBI or procured from third-party technology service providers will be responsible for the above mentioned points. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. <span data-contrast=\"auto\">The expression \u201cAI and machine learning tools and techniques\u201d will include \u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">any application or software program or executable system or a combination thereof, offered by the person regulated by the Board to investors\/stakeholders or used internally by it to facilitate investing and trading or to disseminate investment strategies and advice or to carry out its activities including compliance requirements and the same are portrayed as part of the products offered to the public or under usage for compliance or management or other business purposes.\u201d.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AI has to be used keeping in mind privacy, security and integrity of investors and stakeholders.
