ABOUT THE COMPETITION<\/h3>\n

The SLS International Arbitration Competition, 2025 in collaboration with PSL Advocates and Solicitors seeks to provide an exceptional opportunity for contestants to showcase their adversarial skills while navigating intricate private international law hurdles. Participants will have the chance to address an arbitration panel and deal with problem-solving strategies of a recognized arbitral institution’s protocol\/rules, with hints of procedural intricacies. The participants will experience the most realistic simulation of international arbitration proceedings, complete with cross-border concerns and significant ramifications for the arguing parties. The purpose of the event is to prepare participants for accomplishment in the increasingly linked legal landscape by spanning the gap between theoretical understanding and practical application. The competition seeks to improve the competitors’ abilities while also advancing the discussion of arbitration procedures and the advancement of harmony at the global level. Along with gaining knowledge and skills for practicing private international law, the students take part in sessions to practice presenting their arguments and refine their advocacy competencies for resolving transnational disputes. They also network with prominent and growing international arbitration practitioners and industry experts.<\/p>\n

Screening and Registration:<\/p>\n

Participation in the competition involves a three-stage screening process:<\/p>\n

    Statement of Purpose (SOP)<\/span>, not exceeding 1,000 words, articulating the rationale for participating in the Competition, expected learning outcomes, and the impact of the competition on future academic and professional endeavours, to be submitted by the participating team only;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    ADR CV<\/span> — University Profile outlining their prior experience in ADR, including the organization of and participation in national or international ADR competitions (not exceeding two pages)<\/span>; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
