In the realm of legal prowess and acumen, the esteemed Moot Court Society of Amity Law School, Noida, continues to epitomize excellence. Its roots are deeply embedded in a commitment to fostering enthusiasm and a relentless eagerness to learn and thrive.<\/p>\n

For more than a decade, the society has orchestrated and executed a multitude of revered events, hosting distinguished legal luminaries and speakers who generously share their insights with participants. With a legacy of successful organization, administration, and execution, the Moot Court Society stands as one of the largest student-run body working with zeal.<\/p>\n

The fusion of theoretical learning and the art of articulation is integral to legal education. Mastering analytical and reasoning competencies is vital, and the Moot Court Competition provides a platform for such enrichment. It seamlessly blends written and oral expertise, offering a transformative experience before entering the legal profession.<\/p>\n

With great pride, Amity Law School Noida, is thrilled to host for the eighth consecutive year, the Indian Qualifying Rounds of the prestigious Philip C Jessup Moot Court Competition. In collaboration with the International Law Student Association (ILSA), this marks the eighth consecutive year of hosting, taking place from 12th<\/span> February to 15th<\/span> February 2025. We are also elated to announce that more than 50 Teams registered for this prestigious competition & this incredible turnout reflects the brilliance ,enthusiasm and commitment of the participants towards Jessup.<\/p>\n

This unparalleled event facilitates a global exchange of ideas, delving into complex international matters and addressing crucial concerns. Participants engage in moot court arguments revolving around the fictitious International Court of Justice (ICJ), dissecting intricate legal issues related to environmental and public health issues.<\/p>\n

This year, the moot court revolves around the Case Concerning the NAEGEA SEA, which delves into disputes encompassing maritime rights, environmental concerns, state jurisdiction, and human rights. The problem presents the following issues; 1) the rights and obligations of other members of the international community when two persons claim to be the legitimate president of state; 2)<\/p>\n

Invocation of immunity for government officials accused of grave violations of human rights ;3) legal consequences of receding coastlines for maritime zones of coastal states : and 4) interpretation of compromissory clause in a treaty creating regional organisation.<\/p>\n

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to our Founder President Sir, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, whose vision continues to guide our students towards greater heights and success in their legal journey.<\/p>\n
