ABOUT THE EVENT<\/h3>\n

School of<\/span> Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is hosting the 15th SLCU-CAM International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition 2025. The flagship event is being conducted in association with the prestigious law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), as the title partner. The competition is scheduled to be held from 28th February 2025 to 2nd March 2025 in offline mode.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS<\/h3>\n

School of<\/span> Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, was founded and is administered by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), under the parent University, CHRIST (Deemed to be University). SLCU was ranked among the best colleges in India in the Law category according to the NIRF Rankings declared by the Ministry of Education in 2023, and has become the most preferred educational institution in the city of Bengaluru.<\/p>\n

ABOUT CAM<\/h3>\n

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), India’s leading full-service law firm, was established in May 2015 to carry forward the legacy of its predecessor, Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. CAM is a Tier-1 firm which specializes in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Private Equity, Competition Law, Intellectual Property (IP), Taxation, Insolvency, and Project<\/p>\n

PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION<\/h3>\n

All law colleges\/institutions\/universities across the country recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to take part in the Competition. All participants must be currently pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Law, i.e., either 3-year or 5-year courses. Any number of teams per college\/institution\/university shall be allowed to participate. However, all members must be enrolled in the same college\/institution\/university.<\/p>\n

COMPETITION FORMAT<\/h3>\n

The Competition primarily consists of a Memorial Qualification Round and Oral Round. The Memorial Qualification Round shall qualify the top 20 teams. A Researcher’s Test shall be conducted following which, the oral rounds – Preliminary Rounds, Quarter-Final Round, Semi Final Round, and the Final Round shall be conducted offline.<\/p>\n

REGISTRATION FEES<\/h3>\n

A base registration fee Rs. 3,500\/- (inclusive of GST) is payable by all teams wishing to participate in the competition. Subsequently, an additional fee of Rs. 2,500\/- (inclusive of GST) is payable only by the top twenty teams that qualify for the oral rounds based on their performance in the memorial qualification round.<\/p>\n
