The Law School Policy Review (LSPR), a student-run online platform centered on law and policy and run by the students of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bengaluru, India’s premier law school, is now inviting original and unpublished submissions to its blog.<\/p>\n

About LSPR<\/h3>\n

The Law School Policy Review (LSPR) was founded by a group of students at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru in 2018 with the singular goal of generating and hosting open-access discourse, debate, and discussion on law and policy in the wider context of India society, law, politics, economy, and governmental affairs. LSPR currently hosts a multitude of articles and posts on wide-ranging issues, including public law, commercial law, constitutionalism, foreign policy, economic policy, public administration, and the like.<\/p>\n

We have hosted discussions by practitioners and senior advocates such as Dr. Aditya Sondhi<\/a>, Dushyant Dave<\/a>, Darius Khambata<\/a>, Gopal Sankanarayanan<\/a>, Nakul Dewan<\/a>, Dr. Ajar Rab<\/a> and Jayna Kothari<\/a>. On the policy-making front, we have hosted legislators & international policy makers such as Mr. Basil Oberholzer<\/a> (Legislator, Switzerland), Prof. Mary Lawlor<\/a> (U.N. Special Rapporteur), Dr. Aparna Mathur<\/a> (former Senior Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers, The White House), Mr. Vijay Gokhale<\/a> (former Foreign Secretary of India) have also featured on the blog. We have also hosted prominent international academicians such as Dr. Suri Ratnapala<\/a> (Emeritus Professor of Public Law of the University of Queensland), Prof. Kent Roach<\/a> (Professor & Prichard Wilson Chair in Law and Public Policy at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law), Dr. Elina Steinerte<\/a> (Vice Chair of the Working Group on Arbitrary Detentions, OHCHR<\/a>).<\/p>\n

An inexhaustive list of posts (articles and interviews\/long-form discussions) featuring notable guests\/authors is available here<\/a>. Additionally, we regularly publish articles written by students at NLSIU and other universities\/colleges across India.<\/p>\n

About Submissions<\/h3>\n

Our primary goal at LSPR is to generate and host accessible discourse on issues of contemporary relevance. To that end, we invite students, academicians, practitioners, and professionals to contribute to our blog and newsletter on contemporary legal developments.<\/p>\n

Our submission guidelines are available here<\/a>. Please note that submissions on LSPR are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.<\/p>\n
