Under the broad theme of &#8220;Bridging the Justice Gap: Promoting Equal Access to Legal Rights for All&#8221;, LAC aims to inspire thought-provoking submissions that address the systemic issues faced by marginalized groups and propose solutions to make justice accessible to all.<\/p>\n<h3>THEME<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Competition will be based upon the broad theme of <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">&#8220;Bridging the Justice Gap: Promoting Equal Access to Legal Rights for All&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Participants shall submit articles revolving around current and impactful legal topics, such as:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Barriers to Access: Exploring socio-economic, geographical, and cultural barriers that impede access to justice.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Legal Aid and Support: The role of legal aid services in promoting equitable access to justice,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Technology and Justice: How digital tools and platforms can enhance or hinder access to justice<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Community-Based Approaches: The role of community organizations in facilitating access to legal resources.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>AWARDS AND MERITS<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The article of the winner will be published in the <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">International Journal of Law Research, Education and Social Sciences<\/span>.<a id=\"fnref1\" href=\"#fn1\" title=\"1. Subject to review.\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The article of the runner-up will be published in the <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">Journal of Legal Research and Juridical Sciences<\/span>.<a id=\"fnref2\" href=\"#fn2\" title=\"2. Subject to review.\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The winner shall be awarded with a cash prize of <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">INR 1,500.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The runner-up shall be awarded with a cash prize of <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">INR 1,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The top five articles will be awarded a <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">Certificate of Merit.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The top five participants will get an <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">internship opportunity at the jus corpus.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">All participants shall be awarded with an &#8216;<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">e-Certificate of Participation<\/span>.&#8217;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>ELIGIBILITY<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The competition is open to all law students currently enrolled in recognized 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Participants must be studying at any accredited institution within India<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Entries are allowed from individual participants or from teams with a maximum of two co-authors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>REGISTRATION PROCESS<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Individuals or teams wishing to participate must fill out the online registration form provided.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The registration deadline is <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">10th December 2024<\/span>, and late entries will not be considered.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A non-refundable registration fee of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Rs. 199 for single-authored submissions and Rs. 299 for co-authored submissions<\/span> must be paid online before submitting the
