It is an open-access, student-run journal published by the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. First published in 2005, the Journal has carried articles by luminaries in the field of law and society and has been cited by the Supreme Court of India in two landmark cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">SLR seeks to publish scholarship that goes beyond looking at the law as merely a set of rules and doctrines. SLR welcomes interdisciplinary research that critically explores the intersections between the law and the social sciences, especially in the South Asian context. We envision the Forum to be an accessible place for discourse around issues that have a socio-legal relevance, including but not limited to contemporary developments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">We invite submissions in the form of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">short essays, commentaries<\/span>, and other forms of writing ranging between <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">800-2500 words<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Like our Journal, our Forum houses interdisciplinary research.
