Rachaiah appointed as Permanent Judge of Karnataka High Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">In exercise of the power conferred by Article 217 (1) of the Constitution, the President on 24-10-2024, appointed Justice Siddaiah Rachaiah, Permanent Judge of the Karnataka High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">On 15-10-2024, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2024\/10\/16\/sc-collegium-recommendation-appointment-of-judges-legal-news-scc-times\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Collegium recommended<\/a> Justice Siddaiah Rachaiah&#8217;s name for appointment as a Permanent Judge of the High Court of Karnataka against the existing vacancy.
