School of<\/span> Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore is hosting the 1st edition of the Legal Pitch: National Legal Start-up & Business Plan 2024-25, organized by the Management Studies Committee in collaboration with the Law and Tech Committee, under the theme “Empowering Justice Through Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Technology.”<\/p>\n

About School of Law, Christ (Deemed to Be University), Bangalore<\/h3>\n

School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) (SLCU), Bangalore, is a part of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, which was founded by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate. SLCU boasts of unmatched infrastructure consisting of well-equipped audio-visual classrooms, resourceful libraries with the latest legal publications and journals, an information centre with all time Internet connectivity, conference halls, mini-auditorium, and above all, a conducive environment to study and explore numerous possibilities in life.<\/p>\n

Management Studies Committee<\/h3>\n

Management Studies Committee at the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), provides students with a comprehensive education in management studies. Through interactive workshops, intensive training sessions, and various management-focused activities, the Committee aims to instill values of entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and essential skills in students.<\/p>\n

Law and Technology Committee<\/h3>\n

Law and Technology Committee, at the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is a dedicated student organization focused on exploring the intersection of technology and law. It facilitates interdisciplinary discussions on emerging fields such as ICT, biotechnology, nanotechnology, cryptocurrency, and tokenization. The Committee serves as a forum for debating Technology, Media, and Telecommunication Law, providing valuable insights for further education and career opportunities.<\/p>\n

Legal Pitch: National Legal Start-Up & Business Plan competition 2024-2025<\/h3>\n

The 1st Legal Pitch: National Legal Start-Up & Business Plan Competition aims to promote and support various innovative ideas in the legal and allied fields. The legal industry is facing challenges such as case backlogs and complex compliance issues, which require creative solutions. Startups and innovation are playing a crucial role in driving change, with government ministries introducing schemes to support them. Under the theme “Empowering Justice Through Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Technology,” the competition highlights how these cutting-edge technologies can address legal challenges. In addition to legal practice, law firms must focus on effective business planning, revenue goals, and differentiation to ensure economic viability and long-term success.<\/p>\n
