The Supreme Court Collegium comprising of Dr Justice DY Chandrachud, CJI, Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice BR Gavai on 15-10-2024 passed resolutions recommending appointment of Judicial Officers and Advocates as Judges and Additional Judges as Permanent Judges for Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka High Courts respectively.<\/p>\n

Andhra Pradesh High Court<\/h3>\n

The following Advocates were recommended to be appointed as Judges-<\/p>\n

    Karnataka High Court<\/h3>\n

    Justice Siddaiah Rachaiah’s name was recommended to be appointed as a Permanent Judge of the High Court of Karnataka against the existing vacancy. The Collegium urged that the recommendation may be processed expeditiously as the term of Justice Siddaiah Rachaiah as an Additional Judge is going to expire on 7-11-2024.<\/p>\n

    Kerala High Court<\/h3>\n
