ABOUT THE COMPETITION:<\/p>\n

We are pleased to invite your participation in the 5th National Moot Court Competition 2024, organised by the Lucknow University Moot Court Association, Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow<\/p>\n

The competition is structured with the goal of creating an opportunity for understanding the importance of law on emerging issues, along with research and oratory skills with the expertise of learned professionals of the field.<\/p>\n

Your chance to shine is just a registration away. Seize the opportunity and step into the spotlight!<\/p>\n

REGISTRATION FEE:<\/p>\n

Each team shall submit the registration fee of Rupees:<\/p>\n

INR 7000\/– WITH ACCOMMODATION<\/p>\n

INR 3500- WITHOUT ACCOMMODATION<\/p>\n

Exciting Prizes Await*:<\/p>\n

Winning team – 15,000<\/p>\n

Runner up – 10,000<\/p>\n

Best Mooter – 5,000<\/p>\n

Best memorial – 5,000<\/p>\n

Best Researcher – 5,000<\/p>\n

RULES FOR SUBMISSIONS:<\/p>\n

Formatting Specifications<\/p>\n

i) Soft copy of the Memorials should be in ‘.docx’ format.<\/p>\n

ii) The Hard copy of memorials can be stapled or spiral bound.<\/p>\n

iii) The page size should be A4.<\/p>\n

iv) Name of the Competition in the Header.<\/p>\n

v) Font style ‘Times New Roman’ throughout the document.<\/p>\n

vi) Font size 12 (including headings)<\/p>\n

vii) 1.5 lines spacing<\/p>\n

viii) 1-inch margin on each side<\/p>\n

ix) The Participants may use uniform page borders.<\/p>\n

For Footnotes, formatting specifications are<\/p>\n

i) Font Style ‘Times New Roman’<\/p>\n

ii) Font Size-10<\/p>\n

iii) Single line spacing.<\/p>\n

Teams shall cite authorities in the Memorial using footnotes following the Harvard Bluebook 20th Edition.<\/p>\n

Explanatory or illustrative footnotes are not allowed.<\/p>\n
