The President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, transferred Justice Shamim Ahmed from Allahabad High Court to Madras High Court.<\/p>\n

On 21-08-2024, the Supreme Court Collegium proposed the transfer of Justice Ahmed, Judge, Allahabad High Court to Madras High Court, for better administration of justice. However, via representation dated 22-08-2024, Justice Ahmed requested reconsideration of this proposal. The Collegium did not find any merit in the request, thereby reiterated their recommendation.<\/p>\n
