On 28-8-2024, the Uttar Pradesh State Cabinet approved the Uttar Pradesh Digital Media Policy, 2024<\/span> for appointing digital influencers to publicize the State Government’s policies, schemes and achievements on various social media platforms.<\/p>\n

Key Points:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n

    The State Government will enlist various social media agencies and firms to advertise their content.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    This policy will enable the influencers to share content\/ videos\/ tweets\/ posts\/ reals related to the policies and achievements of the State Governments on X, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Once this policy is enforced, citizens across the country will be given an opportunity to get employment by advertising the content of State Government.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    The account holders and the influencers will be divided into 4 categories, based on the number of followers and will be paid accordingly a sum of Rs. 5 lakhs, Rs. 4 lakhs, Rs. 3 lakhs and Rs. 2 lakhs monthly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    The influencers who will share the videos\/ shorts\/ podcasts on YouTube<\/span> will also be divided into 4 categories, based on the number of followers and will be paid a sum of Rs. 8 lakhs, Rs. 7 lakhs, Rs. 6 lakhs and Rs. 4 lakhs monthly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
