SLS Pune announced 3<\/span>rd<\/span><\/span> Prof. V.S. Mallar Memorial Legal Aid Competition<\/span>, jointly organized by the National Law School of India University’s Centre for Environmental Law, Education, Research and Advocacy (CEERA) and Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune, in collaboration with the Department of Justice, Government of India. The competition aims to elevate legal awareness, provide vital legal assistance, and inspire enthusiastic legal activism among law students throughout India.\u00a0This collaboration would benefit law students across India by providing them information about this unique opportunity to enhance their legal skills and contribute to society.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/p>\n

It is open to Legal Aid Clinics, clubs, NSS, and NCC units from all institutions.<\/p>\n

Deliverables<\/p>\n

This year’s competition introduces a new Legal Assistance Lab and comprises six core deliverables, including Legal Podcast, Speed Mentoring, Street Play, and more. Substantial prizes are offered, including INR 25,000 for the Best Legal Aid Clinic.<\/p>\n

The last date for registration is August 24, 2024.<\/p>\n
