ABOUT THE COMPETITION<\/p>\n

Don’t forget no-one else sees the world, the way you do, so no-one has got things you can tell.<\/p>\n

The Memorial Drafting and Judgment writing competition entails to capture the drafting skill and art of decision making in budding lawyers aspiring to join the reputed judicial services and enhance drafting and writing skills to unfold the dynamic role of the legal relation to society. The competition involves a comprehensive approach towards law in terms of theory and implication of law. The legal arguments on facts and situation with legal precedents and reasoning pave way for judgment writing.<\/p>\n

Drafting and Judgment is the most significant skills for the parties, the Advocates, the legal fraternity, and ultimately the citizens of the Country.<\/p>\n

We invite students from across India to participate in this prestigious event, which aims to excel their drafting and judgement writing skills.<\/p>\n

Hence with the objective of providing all the enthusiastic learners with an opportunity to examine the problems from the legal perspective, apply the law and render a suitable outcome, Lucknow University Moot Court Association is organising 3rd RU SINGH NATIONAL ONLINE MEMORIAL DRAFTING AND JUDGMENT WRITING COMPETITION, 2024 on the name of DR. R.U. SINGH<\/span>.<\/p>\n

He introduced subjects like Public International Law, Company Law, Legal History, Legal Remedies, Taxation, Labour Law in Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow. He also started two law journals, “The Federalist” and “The Indian Law<\/span>.” The University of Lucknow has also named its law library after him as “Dr. R.U. Singh Law Library<\/span>”.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/p>\n

The submission is open to all Law Students registered in Graduate\/Post Graduate Course in any Institution\/ College\/ University.<\/p>\n

The students can register themselves as a team of 2 or may also seek single registration.<\/p>\n

There is no restriction on the number of entries from any college or university.<\/p>\n

The participants shall write a single opinion. Multiple opinions\/dissenting opinions are not allowed.<\/p>\n

Registration Fee –<\/p>\n

Rs.600 INR – Single Author<\/p>\n

Rs.800 INR – Co-Author<\/p>\n

Last date of registration -20th August 2024.<\/p>\n

Last date of submission- 4th September 2024.<\/p>\n
