On 5-8-2024, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs notified the Companies (Adjudication of Penalties) Amendment Rules, 2024 to amend the Companies (Adjudication of Penalties) Rules, 2014<\/a>. The provisions will come into force on 16-9-2024.<\/p>\n

Rule 3-A<\/span> has been inserted vide this amendment which relates to “Adjudication Platform”<\/span>.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n

    all proceedings of adjudicating officer and Regional Director will be done electronically through e-adjudication platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    The e-adjudication platform will be developed by the Central Government.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    In case, any person to whom a notice\/ summon has to be issued, does not have an e-mail address, then the officer will send the notice by post by last intimated address available in records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    The copy of the notice will be preserved electronically on the e-adjudication platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    The Annexure was amended, and Form No. ADJ was revised regarding Memorandum of Appeal.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
