The Ministry of Law and Justice on 16-07-2024 notified the appointments of new Acting Chief Justices for the High Courts of J&K and Ladakh and Madras. The President in exercise of the power in Article 223 of the Constitution appointed the following Judges-<\/p>\n

Justice Tashi Rabstan, Acting Chief Justice, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court<\/p>\n

Justice Rabstan will perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice consequent upon elevation of Justice N. Kotiswar Singh, Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court as Judge of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

Justice D. Krishnakumar, Acting Chief Justice, Madras High Court<\/p>\n

Justice Krishnakumar will perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice consequent upon elevation of Justice R. Mahadevan, Acting Chief Justice of Madras High Court as Judge of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
