The Journal, published bi-annually, is the flagship law review of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies and is a multidisciplinary, double-blind reviewed journal. Further details are available on our website: <a href=\"http:\/\/nualslawjournal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nualslawjournal.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Submission Guidelines<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Categories and Word Limits<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-type-style: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Legislative Comments: 1500 &#8212; 3000 words<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Short Notes: 1500 &#8212; 5000 words<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Case Comments: 1500 &#8212; 5000 words<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Essays: 3000 &#8212; 5000 words<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Articles: 5000 &#8212; 10000 words<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Note: Speaking footnotes, if any must be limited to 50 words.<\/p>\n<p>Articles exceeding the word limit may be considered on merit, solely at the discretion of the editorial board.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-type-style: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Submissions are to be made only in electronic form and must be made via a Google form which can be accessed <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1keOVrkln_Dqbpclg1xNvlSEtJxDvTqYpZ98PhvyjNPM\/viewform?edit_requested=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The last date for submissions to be considered is September 1, 2024. The issue shall be published latest by February, 2025. All submissions made after September 1, 2024 will be considered for Volume 19 Issue 2.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All submissions must contain an abstract of not more than 250 words, accompanying the article. The abstract ought to be contained within the manuscript. Kindly refrain from sending abstracts in a separate word document.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>By submitting an article, the author undertakes that the article is an original work and has not been submitted, accepted or published elsewhere.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Plagiarism will result in summary rejection of the submission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A manuscript that is submitted shall not have more than three authors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Authors will be provided updates on the status of their manuscripts after each stage of the editorial process. However, the finality of publication will be based on an evaluation of the fully-formatted manuscript.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Formatting Guidelines<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-type-style: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>All submissions must follow the NUALS Law Journal Citation Guide. If citation format(s) are not prescribed within the Guide, please refer to the 20th Edition of &#8220;The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All manuscripts must be formatted in accordance with the specifications mentioned in the NUALS Law Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/nualslawjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/style-guide-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Style Guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Kindly ensure the format for dates adheres to the NUALS Law Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/nualslawjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/formatting-guidelines.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Formatting Guide<\/a>. Additionally, language and references to legislative and judicial bodies and others ought to align with the NUALS Law Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/nualslawjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/language-guide-3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Language Guide<\/a> which can be found on the website.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Submissions must be made in .doc\/.docx formats only.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The documents must be devoid of any identification markers. E.g., the name of the author after the title or in metadata.
