Rouse Avenue District Court:<\/span> In a corruption case concerning the Delhi Excise policy 2021-2022, Sunena Sharma, J. sent Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to judicial custody till 12-07-2024, after his three-day custody with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) ended on 29-06-2024.<\/p>\n

The CBI had arrested Arvind Kejriwal on 26-06-24, while he was in judicial custody in connection with the money laundering case registered by the Directorate of Enforcement (‘ED’)<\/p>\n

The CBI did not seek an extension of Arvind Kejriwal’s custody and had asked that he be sent to judicial custody.<\/p>\n

The Court passed the order after the CBI did not seek an extension of Arvind Kejriwal’s custody.<\/p>\n

Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the Trial Court in the money laundering case on 20-06-2024. However, the Delhi High Court issued an interim stay on the grant of bail the following day after the ED moved a plea. Following this, he was arrested by the CBI on 26-06-2024 and remanded to CBI custody till
