{"id":324732,"date":"2024-06-20T10:00:13","date_gmt":"2024-06-20T04:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=324732"},"modified":"2024-06-25T11:57:11","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T06:27:11","slug":"allahabad-hc-dismisses-neet-ug-aspirant-plea-manual-checking-omr-sheet-she-filed-petition-enclosing-forged-and-fictitious-documents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2024\/06\/20\/allahabad-hc-dismisses-neet-ug-aspirant-plea-manual-checking-omr-sheet-she-filed-petition-enclosing-forged-and-fictitious-documents\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Sorry state of affairs that NEET UG Aspirant filed a petition enclosing forged and fictitious documents\u2019: Allahabad HC dismisses her plea for manual checking of OMR sheet"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Allahabad High Court:<\/span> In a writ petition filed by National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET &#8212;UG, 2024) aspirant to issue a direction to the respondent to manually check her OMR sheet , to conduct an enquiry against the respondent, to start the procedure of counselling during the pendency of the present petition in the interest of justice, Rajesh Singh Chauhan,J. has dismissed the petition after noting that the petitioner submitted forged documents in her petition, alleging the NTA failed to declare her result.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Court took note of its previous order dated 12-6-2024, wherein the Court directed the petitioner to produce all her original documents from the stage of her application form till declaration of result as well as the documents regarding email communication with NEET.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Court noted the respondent&#8217;s submission that all the documents filed with the petition are forged and fictitious. Further, it also noted that Chapter XIII of Information Bulletin of NEET (UG)-2004 which provides &#8220;Unfair means practices and breach of examination Rules&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Court said that this is a really sorry state of affairs that the petitioner filed a petition enclosing therewith the forged and fictitious documents. Therefore, it cannot restrain the competent authority \/ authorities from taking any legal action against the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">[<span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #632423;\">Ayushi Patel v.
