Many distinguished personalities in the field of law have been on the advisory editorial board since the inception of the journal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Strictly restricted to legal themes, many authors contribute towards ALR&#8217;s publication annually in the form of research papers, articles, case comments and book reviews. In its publication of so many years, the journal has always strived to keep pace with the national and international contemporary legal debates in all the areas of law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Journal has ISSN 2249-2232 and previously UGC Approved Journal No. 41080. It is published annually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About Call for Papers<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Journal covers all the areas of law including civil, criminal, corporate, arbitration, cyber, intellectual property, etc. It invites research papers, research articles, case comments and book reviews for publication in Volume 20.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eligibility<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Journal seeks contributions from Academicians, Professionals and Jurists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Submission Guidelines<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Amity Law Review&#8217;s (ALR&#8217;s) publication policy restricts the co-authorship number up to two.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Abstract:<\/span> All submissions should be accompanied by an abstract maximum of 250 words outlining the central theme(s) of the paper.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Keywords:<\/span> Maximum 5<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Categories and Word Limits:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>\n<p>Papers should generally be between 5000 and 7000 words (including footnotes).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Notes and case comments should be between 3000 and 5000 words.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Book Reviews should be between 1500 and 200 words.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Editors may, however, accept longer submissions in appropriate cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Formatting Guidelines<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">English:<\/span> Follow British spelling and punctuation conventions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Font Size and Style:<\/span> Kindly use Times New Roman 12 points for the main text and 10 points for footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Headings:<\/span> The heading should be used as per the following style:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>\n<p>First heading: 12pt, Bold Centre<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Second heading: 12pt, Bold Left aligned<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Third heading 12pt, Italics centre<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Line Spacing:<\/span> The line spacing of the main text of the paper should be 1.5. The line spacing between footnotes should be 1.0.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Indent:<\/span> Left and Right indent should be 0.5 on both sides<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">References:<\/span> Footnotes should be used and not endnotes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Cover Page:<\/span> To facilitate anonymity, authors must mention their names, contact details and affiliations only on the cover page of the manuscript.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Amity Law Reviews footnoting style can be accessed through the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/amity.edu\/als\/alr\/manuscript.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amity Law Review(ALR)<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Copyright:<\/span> The author shall warrant that the papers submitted for publication do not infringe the copyright of any other person, except agreed otherwise.
