On 4-6-2024, the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution has made the Central Consumer Protection Authority (Recruitment, Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and Other Employees of Central Authority) Rules, 2024<\/span>. The provisions came into force on 4-6-2024.<\/p>\n

Key Points:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n

    Appointments at all levels or grades will be made by the Central Government on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Any employee appointed on deputation to an ex- cadre<\/span> post can elect to either the pay in scale of pay of ex- cadre<\/span> or his pay in the parent in the parent cadre with deputation allowance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    For any official visit abroad<\/span>, prior approval of the Chief Commissioner or Commissioner of the Central Authority will be necessary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    The employee will have to follow the instructions issued by the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Finance if travelling for any official visit abroad.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
