What makes this verdict significant is that for the first time in the history of USA, a former or sitting President has been convicted of criminal charges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Jury&#8217;s decision was unanimous wherein they found the former President to have falsified business records to conceal a $130,000 hush money payment to an adult-film star to influence the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Jury heard from 22 witnesses during about four weeks of testimony in Manhattan&#8217;s criminal court and considered other documentary evidence
