The Programme aimed to provide the participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks, procedures, and investigative techniques essential for effective prosecution and adjudication of criminal cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Delving into the intricate realms of Criminal Law and Forensic Sciences, the Program boasted an impressive array of sessions helmed by legal luminaries and subject matter experts. Prof. G.S. Bajpai, Prof. B.B. Pande, Mr. M.L. Kumawat, Dr. Tanuj Kanchan, Shri Sanuj Kulshreshtha, Prof. V. Subba Rao, Dr. Shaloo Malik, Adv. P.C. Solanki, and Mr. Bhaskar Agarwal enlightened the participants with their insights into diverse topics related to the theme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A highlight of the event was the thought-provoking inaugural panel discussion on the Indian Criminal Justice System, the Chief Guest, Justice Ravindra Bhat, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Prof. B. B. Pande, and Hon&#8217;ble Attorney General of Nepal, Dr. Dina Mani Pokharel. The session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Harpreet Kaur, the Hon&#8217;ble Vice Chancellor of NLUJ, setting a tone of academic rigor and intellectual exchange. The culmination of the Program was marked by a valedictory address from esteemed Chief Guest, Justice Ashwani Kumar Singh, a Former Judge of the Patna High Court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Beyond the confines of the lecture halls, the participants embarked on a journey to explore the rich culture and heritage of Rajasthan. Prof. Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Hon&#8217;ble Attorney General of Nepal, Dr. Dina Mani Pokharel, and Deputy Attorney General of Nepal, Mr. Bishwo Raj Koirala along with 30 participants visited the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur on the 21st of February, and were addressed by the Hon&#8217;ble Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court, Mr. M.M. Shrivastava and Hon&#8217;ble Justice Pushpendra Bhati.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The cohort also ventured to iconic landmarks such as the Mehrangarh Fort, Osian sand dunes, and Ranakpur, soaking in the essence of Rajasthan&#8217;s vibrant heritage. They also visited Surpura Village, which has been adopted by NLUJ, in an effort to engage with local communities and foster social responsibility. This visit was coordinated by NLUJ faculty Dr. Anjali Thanvi. Further, a visit to the Arid Forest Research Institute (AFRI) provided valuable insights into the desert ecosystem, facilitated by Mr. M.R. Baloch, IFS, PCCF, and Director, AFRI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The practical aspects of Forensic Science were not neglected, as the participants received hands-on exposure at the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory in Jodhpur, under the guidance of expert practitioners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">This event was coordinated under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Harpreet Kaur and Mr. Harphool Pankaj, RAS, Registrar, NLUJ. This team comprised of the Course Coordinators: Mr. Renjith Thomas, Dr. Manisha Mirdha, Dr. Neeti Mathur, and Mr. Sarthak Mishra, along with Staff Members at NLUJ and the Student Team of NLUJ External Initiatives Committee: Bhanu Jindal, Rajiv Yadav, Shivam Jain, Siddhant Rathod, Vanshika Agrawal, Harshita Baswana, Alka Nanda, Rijul Rajan, Vrinda Gupta, and Bhanu Pratap Singh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Two-Week Special Training Programme on Criminal Law and Forensic Sciences organized by NLUJ stands as a testament to the spirit of academic collaboration and
