Tak News Anchor Sudhir Chaudhary in a matter pertaining to First Information Report (&#8216;FIR&#8217;) registered by the Jharkhand Police under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002828505\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scheduled Castes &amp; Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989<\/a> (&#8216;SC-ST Act&#8217;) over alleged remarks against tribal community while reporting arrest of former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren by the Enforcement Directorate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Jharkhand High Court had earlier refused to stay proceedings against Sudhir Chaudhary, and thus, he approached the Supreme Court through the instant Special Leave
