ABOUT THE ORGANIZER<\/p>\n

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) was established in the year 1971. Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS Pune) has been a constituent of SIU since 2002. The India Today-Nielsen study has placed SLS-P among the top 10 law schools in India every year since 2007. It is listed as one of the top three law schools in the Super Excellence Survey 2019 by GHRDC, and it is ranked number six by the National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.<\/p>\n

Symbiosis Law School, Pune is gearing up to host its annual extravaganza, Symbhav 2024. This event serves as a convergence point for colleges nationwide, coming together to celebrate cultural, sports, and legal endeavours. With its diverse array of activities, the festival aims to create a vibrant atmosphere, fostering connections among students from various fields of study. Since its inception in February 2009, Symbhav has consistently expanded its influence, leaving a significant footprint in the realm of student engagement. Over the years, it has showcased a plethora of talent and organized more than 40 events spanning across Law, Culture, Literature, Sports, Fine Arts, and Academia. The eagerly awaited 16th Edition of Symbhav is scheduled to kick off on April 04, 2024, promising four days of excitement and enrichment until April 07, 2024.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE EVENTS<\/p>\n

There will be five competitions as part of our cultural and legal fest this year:<\/p>\n

    2nd<\/span> Deal Mediation Competition, 2024 [April 5 & 6, 2024]<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    TEAM COMPOSITION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURES<\/p>\n

    1. \n

      5th<\/span> Nithin Patil Memorial Mono Advocacy Competition, 2024.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. The competition is open for students who are currently pursuing LLB via a three-year \/ five-year course. Each participant must contest individually.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. All the participating institutions\/individuals have to register by filling out the Registration Form<\/span>– https:\/\/forms.gle\/dyg6hUiwmuurgz6WA<\/a> on or before March 20, 2024.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. The registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and any change in the registration must be informed to the organizers at the earliest.<\/li>\n
      4. The participants will be required to submit 2 (two) skeleton briefs<\/span>, one from each side being represented on before March 20, 2024.<\/li>\n
      5. The participants will be required to pay Rs.1500\/-<\/span> as registration fees.<\/li>\n
      6. The proposition will be released on February 22, 2024<\/span> (subject to change).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

        1st<\/span> Nithin Patil Memorial Negotiation Competition, 2024.<\/p>\n

          Client Counselling Competition, 2024.<\/p>\n

          1. The participants shall be from any of the 3-year LLB or 5-year Integrated LLB Courses. Each team will consist of two<\/span> participants, and they shall be from the same institution, with each team comprising of 1 Client & 1 Counsel.<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Team(s) may not be altered after registration.<\/li>\n
          3. Registration fees for the Client Counselling event is Rs.2500\/- per team<\/span>. All the participating institutions\/teams have to register by filling out the Registration Form-<\/span> https:\/\/forms.gle\/dyg6hUiwmuurgz6WA<\/a> on or before March 20, 2024.<\/span><\/li>\n
          4. The registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and any change in the registration must be informed to the organizers at the earliest.<\/li>\n

            Settlement Agreement Drafting Competition, 2024.<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Each team shall consist of a minimum of (01) one participant and a maximum of two (02) participants belonging to the same college. The participants shall be pursuing a 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB programme from any college within India. The team composition may not be altered after registration.<\/li>\n
            2. The last date of Registration is March 20, 2024<\/span>, and the same must be completed on this Registration Form-<\/span> https:\/\/forms.gle\/dyg6hUiwmuurgz6WA<\/a>. The Registration fee for the competition is Rs. 500\/- per team<\/span>, for which the payment details share be shared with the registered participants on their Email IDs.<\/li>\n
            3. The Settlement Agreement is to be submitted via the Google form both .docx and pdf<\/span> latest by 17:00 HRS. IST, March 25, 2024<\/span>, on the following google form: https:\/\/forms.gle\/avoAzVDM4QvyKWAK9<\/a>. In case of multiple submissions, the last submission by the participant before the deadline will be considered for evaluation and any submission received after the deadline shall not be considered for evaluation, and the team shall be disqualified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            4. \n

              2nd<\/span> Deal Mediation Competition, 2024.<\/p>\n

                \n
              1. The participants shall be from any of the 3-year LLB or 5-year Integrated LLB Courses. Each team will consist of Three Participants (Client, Counsel & Mediator)<\/span> and they shall be from the same institution.<\/li>\n
              2. Team(s) may not be altered after registration.<\/li>\n
              3. The registration fee for the event is Rs. 3000\/-<\/span> and all the participating institutions\/teams must register by filling out the Registration Form on or before March 26, 2024<\/span>, on this link- https:\/\/forms.gle\/dyg6hUiwmuurgz6WA<\/a><\/li>\n
              4. The registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and any change in the registration must be informed to the organizers at the earliest, there will be a maximum cap of 2 teams per institution.<\/li>\n
              5. \n

                Each team must register for their roles in the competition. After registration, these roles cannot be changed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
