Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of Justice Prasanna B. Varale as Judge of Supreme Court of India<\/a><\/p>\n

The Supreme Court Collegium comprising of Dr Justice DY Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Justice BR Gavai, Justice Surya Kant and Justice Aniruddha Bose, on 19-1-2024, unanimously resolved to recommend the name of Justice Prasanna B Varale to be appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.<\/p>\n

Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of Additional Judges and Permanent Judges for 6 High Courts<\/a><\/p>\n

Supreme Court Collegium comprising of Dr Justice DY Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice BR Gavai, on 04-01-2024, recommended 8 names for appointment Additional Judges and Permanent Judges for the High Courts of Bombay, Calcutta, Chhattisgarh, Gauhati, Punjab and Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.<\/p>\n

Supreme Court Collegium recommends elevation of Advocates and Judicial Officers as Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh High Court Judges<\/a><\/p>\n

On 09-01-2024, the Supreme Court Collegium comprising of Dr Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice B.R. Gavai recommended the names of 4 advocates and judicial officers to be appointed as Judges of the High Courts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.<\/p>\n

Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of Additional and Permanent Judges for 3 High Courts<\/a><\/p>\n

The Supreme Court Collegium comprising of Dr Justice DY Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice BR Gavai, on 18-01-2024 resolved to recommend 8 names of Judges and Judicial Officers to be appointed as Additional and Permanent Judges in the 3 High Court of Calcutta, Jharkhand and Kerala.<\/p>\n

Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of Justice PS Dinesh Kumar as Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court<\/a><\/p>\n

In a Resolution passed by the Supreme Court Collegium on 19-1-2024, the name of Justice PS Dinesh Kumar was recommended to be appointed as the 33rd Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.<\/p>\n
