Supreme Court:<\/span> In a Special Leave Petition filed against an order of the Allahabad High Court refusing to quash an FIR lodged against the Vice Chancellor and other officials of the Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Science (‘SHUATS’) in the case regarding the alleged forceful religious conversions, the division bench of Aniruddha Bose and Sanjay Kumar, JJ. has extended the interim protection from arrest to the Vice Chancellor and other officials.<\/p>\n

The Bench directed the State of UP to file a counter-affidavit within one week.<\/p>\n

The matter will be taken up after three weeks.<\/p>\n
