About the organization<\/p>\n

National Law University Tripura is the 25th<\/span> National Law University of the country established by an act of the Tripura Legislature. It is a milestone in the field of legal education and research in the State of Tripura for improving the quality of professional legal education. The foundation of the University was laid by Her Excellency Smt. Draupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India on October 12, 2022.<\/p>\n

About the Event<\/p>\n

The Centre for Women and Child Rights at National Law University Tripura is organizing its First Two Day International Conference on “Unfolding Gender Equity Through Inclusivity: Challenges and Way Forward” on March 08-09, 2024.<\/p>\n

The Centre for Women and Child Rights at National Law University Tripura is a dedicated initiative committed to advancing and safeguarding the rights of women and children through interdisciplinary research, advocacy, and community engagement.<\/p>\n

This event is being conducted in collaboration with Tripura Commission for Women. The Tripura Commission for Women, adhering to its mandate, tackled crimes against women, particularly emphasizing marital discord and domestic violence. Through investigations, counselling and collaboration with law enforcement, the Commission aims to expedite resolutions. It also prioritizes awareness programs and engages with diverse stakeholders to address issues like crime rates against women.<\/p>\n

The Conference is open to all the Students, Research Scholars\/Faculties\/Academicians, Corporate Delegates, Business entities and Lawyers.<\/p>\n
