It provides a platform to publish high quality legal research. We invite original and previously unpublished articles, notes and comments, &#8216;judicial trends&#8217;, &#8216;legislative trends&#8217;, and book reviews from academicians, judges, lawyers and research scholars on any contemporary legal and socio-legal issue for <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Volume XI (2024).<\/span> The contributors must not submit their manuscript elsewhere while it is under consideration at the JCLC. Further, the contributors must ensure that their submission is their own original work and not plagiarized, and any submission found to be plagiarized shall be summarily rejected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;\">Submission Guidelines:<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">Authors are requested to submit their work through our dedicated submission portal for this issue (Vol. XI) <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">only using the Google Form <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">available at:<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/FX3XXWBLvTh98Jnc9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/FX3XXWBLvTh98Jnc9<\/a><\/span> latest by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">April 15, 2024<\/span>. The submission portal requires separate upload of the submission document without identifiable information, and the cover page. The following submission guidelines must be followed:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The articles should consist of 5,000 &#8212; 10,000 words, inclusive of footnotes. Each article must be accompanied by an <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">abstract<\/span> (maximum 250 words), and five <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">keywords<\/span> separated by semicolons.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Comments and notes should consist of 4,000 &#8212; 6,000 words, inclusive of footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Submissions titled as &#8216;Judicial Trends&#8217;, and &#8216;Legislative Trends&#8217; should consist of 3,000 &#8212; 5,000 words, inclusive of footnotes. &#8216;Legislative Trends&#8217; and &#8216;Judicial Trends&#8217; must contain a descriptive account of the salient legislative developments and important judicial pronouncements in India in the year 2023 respectively.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Book reviews should consist of 1,000 &#8212; 2000 words, inclusive of footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Font &#8212; Times New Roman; Size 12 for Text, 10 for Footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Line spacing &#8212; 1.5 for text and single for footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Microsoft Word Document Format.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Authors are required to upload a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">separate cover page<\/span> containing the following information:<\/p>\n<p>Authors&#8217; brief description including Title, Name, University\/Organization, Educational qualification, Professional Status; and Acknowledgements (if any) in not more than 300 words.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The submission document should not contain any reference to the identity of the author(s) to enable anonymous peer review.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>For citation and references, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8220;Indian Law Institute, Rules of Footnoting&#8221;<\/span> should be strictly and consistently followed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p
