School of<\/span> Law, Christ University (SLCU), Bangalore, is a part of Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, a premier educational institution. It is an academic fraternity dedicated to the motto, “EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE”, providing a nurturing ground for an individual’s holistic development to contribute to society in a dynamic environment effectively. SLCU has a vision to become a globally recognised centre for excellence in legal education with a mission to create and proactively generate in-depth legal knowledge in the student community. To promote interaction between students and legal professionals, seminars, guest lectures and workshop are conducted on various subjects of law at regular intervals.<\/p>\n

The Corporate Law Committee, SLCU, strives to create unparalleled opportunities for future legal professionals in the corporate world. Our goal is to impart a well-rounded understanding of Corporate Law and its associated areas through a variety of engaging activities. To further our mission, we humbly propose on organizing a prestigious 1st<\/span> National Contract Drafting Competition & Workshop in collaboration with Nishith Desai Associates<\/span>. The primary objective of this competition is to offer the law students a platform to develop their contract drafting skills in a simulated real-world scenario.<\/p>\n

I. About the contract drafting workshop:<\/p>\n

The workshop will be conducted on 14th February 2024<\/span> from 9:30 AM to 3 PM<\/span> in OFFLINE MODE<\/span><\/p>\n

About the contract drafting competition:<\/p>\n

The competition will be held in ONLINE MODE<\/span>. The link for registration will be open till the 10th February 2023.<\/p>\n

II. Registration Fee:<\/p>\n

    Attend the workshop only: Rs. 500<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Participate in the competition only: Rs. 700<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Attend BOTH the workshop and the competition: Rs. 900<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Please refer to the brochure for more details on the fees for a team of 2 participating in both the workshop and competition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note that the participants will NOT be provided with any accommodation services as well as transport services by the Organizing Committee.<\/p>\n

    III. Eligibility Criteria:<\/p>\n

    This Workshop and Competition is open to students currently enrolled in 3-year LL.B or 5-year LL.B Courses in India.<\/p>\n
