MoU between IAMC, Hyderabad and TIAC, Uzbekistan<\/p>\n

Ending the year 2023 with a remarkable feat, the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC) Hyderabad, in India entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (TIAC) in Uzbekistan on December 29, 2023.<\/p>\n

The MoU signed by Ms. Diana Bayzakova, Director of TIAC, Uzbekistan, and Mr. Tariq Khan, Registrar of IAMC, Hyderabad provides for cooperation between both parties in promoting international arbitration in Uzbekistan and India, through organising of joint conferences, seminars, workshops, training programmes or other events on international arbitration.<\/p>\n

The IAMC, Hyderabad is an independent, not-for-profit public charitable trust that provides arbitration, mediation and related dispute resolution services, across India and internationally. The Centre boasts of state-of-art infrastructure, cutting-edge technology and a highly eminent Board of Trustees, comprising of senior Judges and the Law Minister of Telangana, which ensures quality dispute resolution services internationally. IAMC is guided by an autonomous Governing Council consisting of legal luminaries, industry veterans and experts in the field of arbitration and mediation from India and abroad.<\/p>\n

The Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (TIAC) promises efficient dispute resolution in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) comprising of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.<\/p>\n

India and Uzbekistan are strategic partners in vital areas such as defence cooperation, trade, investments, and solar power.
