He founded the first Catholic indigenous congregation, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), in 1831, which administers CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR. It is a premier educational institution, is an academic fraternity of individuals dedicated to the motto of &#8216;EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE.&#8217; It is a nurturing ground for an individual&#8217;s holistic development to effectively contribute to society in a dynamic environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Moot Court Competition<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Moot Court Committee (MCS) at School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR was established in 2019. It is constituted to take the responsibility of administering and regulating the mooting activities at the School of Law. The Moot Court Committee endeavors to provide a nurturing environment to students interested in the art of mooting and advocacy in the long run. In order to achieve this objective, the Moot Court Society wholeheartedly welcomes law students from all around the country for the upcoming 4th National Moot Court Competition, 2024 organized by CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Delhi-NCR. The Competition is scheduled to be held from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">8th to 10th February 2024<\/span>, in an <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">OFFLINE<\/span> Mode and it shall strive to carry forward the same legacy in providing a holistic experience of mooting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eligibility<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The competition is open for students who are pursuing LLB three year\/five- year courses during the current academic year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Each team should consist of three members. However, a two-member team may be allowed to participate with the discretion of the organizers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>There shall be two speakers and one researcher designated for each team. The researcher shall be allowed to argue with prior permission of the court and the organizers in case of illness of the designated speakers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Teams should not disclose the identity of their institution; such disclosure shall invite penalties including disqualification. The decision for the same shall be at the discretion of the organizers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>No additional team member other than the above three shall be entertained.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Each team shall be assigned with the team code. Teams shall use only their Team code for identification purposes. Names of participants may not appear on or within the written submissions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Only one team per college\/institution\/university shall be allowed to participate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Registration<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">The Registration process will take place in two parts:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Memorial Qualifying Round:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The registration form should only be filled after making the payment of Rs. 1,000. Oral Rounds:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Only those teams who have cleared the Memorial Qualifying Rounds shall register for the Oral Rounds. Registration for the Oral Rounds shall commence on 21st January 2024.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The registration form should only be filled out after making the payment of Rs. 5,100 (with accommodation) and Rs. 4,200 (without accommodation). The link for the same will be provided to the qualifying teams via mail.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Each team must register by filling up the registration form through the link which will be provided via
